The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings within an assigned geography. Delivers clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals.

Responsibilities:
- Engage Rare Neurology experts and key customers in an assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch product, grow brand share and revenue, and consistently deliver product goals
- Partner with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and other stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics/trends, and develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives
- Develop strong relationships with clinics, physicians, nurses, healthcare providers, patient advocacy support groups, Reimbursement and Access team, Clinical Nurse Educators, Marketing, National Accounts, Training and Trade
- Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to understand regional/local delivery, influencers, and payer systems
- Apply deep knowledge of applicable customers/markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations)
- Use strategic account selling and management; develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans
- Emphasize the “total account call” to educate all account personnel on commercially available products
- Develop and execute tactics in key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share
- Identify business opportunities and coordinate with the Rare Neurology account team (e.g., contracting pull-through)
- Gain deep knowledge of each assigned account (business model, metrics, challenges, strategic goals)

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory; Master’s degree or advanced education/certifications a plus
- 5+ years successful Neurology sales; specialty/biologic/REMS strongly preferred (launch experience preferred)
- 2+ years working with key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations focused on Neurology
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity and compliance
- Results-oriented; proven product launch success
- Strong account management with analytical/problem-solving/planning skills
- Current experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks
- Strong understanding of Neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace
