Med Tech Supply Chain PMO Excellence Lead (aka: Project Manager for Project Managers)

Responsibilities:
- Establish PMO governance, processes, tools, and capabilities to deliver projects, programs, and structured work.
- Improve Project Management capability maturity; partner with executive and functional leaders to drive execution discipline and delivery predictability.
- Ensure PMO work adds value, aligns to organizational strategy, and meets PMO goals.
- Facilitate PMO mission/vision consensus; define PMO charter, mission, goals, operating model.
- Identify/develop PMO roles, team configuration, and recruitment.
- Implement project management processes/methods/tools/standards; lead portfolio planning and prioritization.
- Direct end-to-end PMO work effort, including identifying, quantifying, and tracking expected benefits.
- Provide PMO staff coaching/mentoring; act as trusted advisor; review PPM best practices.
- Lead/establish a Project Management community of practice (CoP) when needed.
- Assess portfolio performance via metrics; manage alignment through prioritization, resource capacity, and key result tracking.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (engineering/supply chain/engineering or equivalent) required; Project Management Certification required (multiple/elevated degrees preferred).
- 10+ years combined Operations/Supply Chain/Engineering experience.
- 5+ years large-scale program/project management in a matrixed organization.
- 3+ years operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Skills (Required):
- Lead global portfolios/transformations in complex cross-functional environments; design program governance (risk frameworks, escalation, executive reporting).
- Strong leadership, influence without authority, stakeholder alignment, and change management.
- Executive communication/storytelling; analytical and strategic planning/execution.
- Align investments/resources with strategic objectives; develop/execute strategic resource plans.
- Knowledge of current/emerging Project Management technologies and project planning tools.
- Partner with Digital/Data teams for reporting/dashboards/analytics/BI.

Preferred:
- Experience with AI, PowerBI, Quickbase, Planisware; Agile Decision Making/Agility Jumps; Continuous Improvement; cross-functional collaboration.

Other:
- Up to 25% travel.
