Med Tech Supply Chain PMO Excellence Lead (aka Project Manager for Project Managers)
Responsibilities:
- Establish PMO governance, processes, tools, and capabilities to deliver projects/programs and structured work.
- Improve Project Management capability maturity; partner with executive/functional leaders to drive execution discipline, delivery predictability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure PMO work adds value, aligns to organizational strategy, and meets executive PMO goals.
- Develop PMO mission/vision and operating model (PMO charter); define PMO roles, team configuration, and recruiting.
- Implement project management processes/methods/tools/standards; lead portfolio planning/prioritization.
- Define/manage end-to-end PMO work, including benefits identification, quantification, and tracking.
- Provide coaching/mentoring to PMO staff; advise senior stakeholders; drive PPM best-practice improvements.
- Assess portfolio performance using metrics; ensure strategic alignment via prioritization, capacity management, and key result tracking.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree (engineering/supply chain/equivalent) and Project Management Certification.
- 10+ years combined Operations/Supply Chain/Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5+ years large-scale program/project management in a matrixed organization.
- 3+ years operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience with AI, PowerBI, Quickbase, Planisware.
- Knowledge of E2E Supply Chain; strong executive communication/storytelling.
- Experience with organizational change management (process redesign, tooling transitions, operating model transformations).
