Mechatronic Engineering Senior Technician - 3rd Shift

Role: Senior Packaging Maintenance Technician responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining packaging equipment to maximize uptime, quality, and OEE. Responsibilities include supporting line changeovers, root cause analysis, equipment upgrades, and providing technical guidance and training to operations staff. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts, serving as a technical leader on the production floor. Qualifications: 5+ years of cGMP experience in regulated manufacturing, with a high school diploma or technical training, and proficiency in equipment maintenance, automation systems (PLC, HMIs, VFDs), and digital tools like SAP and Microsoft Office. Additional skills in troubleshooting complex automation, supporting validation activities, and interpreting technical documents are required. Preferred: experience with GMP-regulated environments, packaging machinery (cartoners, labelers, serialization systems), reliability initiatives, and data analysis related to OEE. High-value specifics include working within a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industry, with a focus on packaging systems automation, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position is a third-shift role (Monday-Friday, 10:30pm-7:00am) with a 15% shift differential, supporting a regulated manufacturing environment.
