Position Summary
Coordinate and ensure the flow of materials throughout the manufacturing process, from receipt of material to shipment of product; expediting, stocking and shipping functions. Perform daily customer service functions related to receiving, issuing, and shipping materials.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials by verifying catalog numbers, lot numbers, and quantities against packing lists, purchase orders, and/or return authorization forms per SOPs.
- Unpack, sort, check, count, and verify incoming materials before entering into the database.
- Record shortages, reject damaged items, and advise appropriate personnel.
- Route received products to specified departments or quarantine.
- Prepare Incoming Materials Specifications (IMS) and routine administrative paperwork.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Purchasing to ensure component availability.
- Ship outgoing materials by verifying catalog numbers, lot numbers, and quantities against packing lists per SOPs.
- Pack, sort, check, count, and verify outgoing materials before final shipment.
- Prepare shipments for couriers/freight forwarders; select shipping boxes; prepare packing slips and verify work order quantities, destination, and routing.
- Communicate with other departments on status of outgoing materials; prepare shipping reports and file shipping records.
- Track lost shipments; attend daily production meetings; maintain component status in the Receiving Inspection (RI) Bin.
- Assist with Shop Order (SO) issues/returns; maintain organization in receiving area, refrigerators/freezers, and warehouse floor.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory; scrap goods via disposition.
- Maintain Forklift, IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, DOT HazMat, and Transportation & Security Awareness certifications.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Follow departmental policies, procedures, objectives, and safety standards.
- Use inventory aides and warehouse equipment.
- Sufficient English communication skills.
- Teamwork; basic computer/software knowledge.
- Metric measurement knowledge; good math ability.
- Strong detail orientation and organizational skills.

Minimum Job Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2–4 years directly related experience preferred.
