Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, and ship raw materials and packaging components for the Lilly RTP manufacturing site.
- Ensure materials are available for weekly production operations and inventory quantities are accurate.
- Handle and process materials in the inventory system following GMP at all times (reports to Warehouse Supervisor).
- Perform accurate receiving/storage of components from vendors and other Lilly sites; ship orders to internal/external Lilly customers.
- Unload/load materials; receive and store in appropriate zones; prepare and ship customer orders; process warehouse inventory transactions; complete cycle counting.
- Follow safety requirements and procedures; inspect area for H&S issues; assist with countermeasures from safety incident investigations; support safety projects.
- Follow GMP and regulatory requirements; participate in quality initiatives and audits (FDA, EMEA, DEA, OSHA, IDEM, EPA).
- Meet performance improvement goals; execute inventory transactions timely.
- Set and maintain appropriate local warehouse inventory levels; provide key customers materials/components on-time and in full.
- Maintain learning plan at 100% current; follow warehouse policies/procedures.
- Maintain a safe work environment supporting all HSE goals.
Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of Post Offer Exam or Completion of Work Simulation (if applicable)
Additional Preferences:
- Ability to pick up/move 40 lb containers
- Certified to operate powered industrial trucks
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills
- Solid understanding of quality/corporate policies and regulatory basics (FDA, EMEA, OSHA, EPA)
- Demonstrated judgment/initiative; positive, flexible attitude; willingness to work overtime
- Proactive/self-motivated; multitasking and prioritization
- Experience with materials handling and inventory management systems; warehouse/logistics in a GMP environment
- Ability to work 2-2-3 day shift schedule
