Role Summary

Director of US Breast Cancer Strategy and Alignment to define commercial leadership opportunity in Breast Cancer through an above-brand vision and strategy, partnering with global, medical, and analytics teams to shape US breast cancer strategy and align with headquarters and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of short and medium-term US breast cancer strategy in partnership with global and medical teams, including potential asset synergies and broader disease-state opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Insights & Analytics to develop a single view of the evolving breast cancer landscape and the role of AZโ€šร„รดs assets within it.
  • Partner with US commercial leaders across breast cancer assets to ensure strategic and executional alignment across headquarters and customer-facing teams.
  • Initial focus on current US breast cancer products with expansion to future assets as data readouts evolve.
  • Report directly to the US Breast Cancer franchise head and serve as a key member of the franchise leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Required: At least 7 years of oncology marketing, strategy, or related experience (US and/or global)
  • Required: Ability to work collaboratively and think strategically
  • Required: Comprehensive understanding of the US market and roles of customer-facing teams
  • Preferred: MBA in a relevant field
  • Preferred: Experience in US marketing or strategy within Oncology
  • Preferred: Experience in Breast Cancer
  • Preferred: Experience in sales
