Role Summary

Manufacturing Technician II- Packaging- Day Shift. Implement all processes in production while strictly following cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and any applicable related regulations. Organize and lead production activities, participate in departmental projects and quality teams, and document process activities. May act as line lead to ensure smooth operation and daily goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and quality working environment while adhering to cGMP and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams.
  • Support manufacturing operations and meet production task deadlines.
  • Lead Manufacturing Technicians I in daily tasks.
  • Operate general production equipment (such as Downstream Automated Packaging lines, forklifts, and hoists).
  • Receive and distribute supplies into the production area and move pallets within the value stream.
  • Communicate and work with other departments.
  • Follow cGMP and safety guidelines and other regulations, including relevant paperwork.
  • Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain GMP standards.
  • Train employees/contractors on procedures.
  • Communicate safety, quality, compliance and equipment issues to the manufacturing lead operator and supervisor.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cGMP manufacturing.
  • Meet deadlines of individual production tasks during shift.
  • Follow the company's safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience, or AA or higher with 1+ years of related experience.

Additional Requirements

  • May work multiple shifts, including weekends, to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
  • May work non-traditional hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • May work a 12-hour shift (5:00am – 5:30pm), 2-2-3 rotation.
  • May require immunization before performing work within the manufacturing area.
  • Ability to carry, lift, push/pull up to 30 lbs with or without assistance; extended standing/walking; repetitive hand motions; potential exposure to chemicals and cold/hot/wet environments.
  • Must be flexible to work off-shift hours and across different shifts.
