Role Summary
Manufacturing Technician II responsible for implementing production processes in a cGMP environment, leading production activities, and documenting process steps. Reports to the Supervisor, Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Understand and apply cGMP regulations in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Lead production tasks and assist with movement of materials through inspection to packaging within the value stream.
- Document process activities on routers or in the electronic batch management system (EBM).
- Operate general production equipment (e.g., Downstream Automated Packaging lines, forklifts, hoists).
- Move pallets between rooms; receive and distribute supplies in the production area.
- Follow safety, quality, and GDP/GMP guidelines; maintain a safe and quality working environment.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams and support manufacturing operations.
- Train employees/contractors on procedures; communicate safety, quality, and equipment issues to the lead operator and supervisor.
- Lead Manufacturing Technicians I in daily tasks and ensure line meets daily goals.
- Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines; perform daily GMP-compliant cleaning.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience, or AA or higher with 1+ years of related work experience.
- Good interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to work multiple shifts, including weekends, to support a 24/7 operation; willingness to work non-traditional hours and overtime as needed.

Education
- High school diploma or GED; additional AA or higher preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs; stand/walk for extended periods; tolerate noise and environment with PPE as required.
- Ability to work in controlled environments with gowning and safety protocols; potential exposure to chemicals and moving equipment.
