B2 Night Shift: 6pm–6:30am Wednesday/Thursday/Friday & every other Saturday (15% Dif)
Performs functions supporting cGMP manufacturing operations at AbbVie’s Waco facility to produce sterile eye care products in a highly controlled, aseptic environment. Follows strict cleanliness, gowning, and contamination control procedures to ensure product quality and safety.
Responsibilities may include working with engineers on equipment setup/calibration, supporting quality testing, and assisting in producing parts/components/final materials. Uses systems such as LIMS, SAP, and automated control systems to review operating data and support adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment as needed. Helps identify and improve manufacturing methods and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Shipping finished materials
- Maintaining inventory levels
- Sampling in-process and raw materials
- Running glass washer/autoclave
- Buffer/media preparation
- Equipment preparation (CIP/SIP)
- Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale)
- Column chromatography
- Tangential flow filtration
Qualifications:
- High School diploma (or equivalent) + 2+ years; or Associate degree in science + 1+ years; or Bachelor’s + 0+ years
- Experience in highly controlled aseptic environments (preferred)
- Knowledge of aseptic clean rooms and gowning procedures (preferred)
