Operations
Shift: A2, 2:30PM–11PM, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Safety: Promote a “safety first” culture; conduct routine safety checks in compliance with EHS requirements.
- People: Oversee daily staffing/delegation to meet the production schedule; ensure training to required job standards; run 1:1s, performance reviews, and engagement/survey action plans; approve time & attendance weekly; communicate key information to the team.
- Operational: Coordinate shift activities to meet the production schedule; ensure safe shift handovers.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies; conduct material/line clearance/spot checks; address any shift compliance issues impacting lot completion.
- Performance: Manage cycle time and changeover time; drive continuous improvements.
- Development: Train and develop direct reports; assign progressively challenging tasks; maintain development plans and growth mindset.
- Operation Excellence (OpEx): Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Waste: Generate/manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste per procedures and local/federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (sciences/engineering strongly preferred).
- Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
- 2+ years manufacturing/related experience required; supervisor experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (e.g., SAP).
- Working knowledge of safety, quality systems, and cGMPs; good documentation/writing skills.
- Aseptic production experience desirable (if applicable).
