Manufacturing Supervisor I (2nd Shift-2:30pm-11pm)

This is for the A2 Shift 2:30PM–11pm, Monday–Friday

Responsibilities:
- Safety: Create an environment where safety is the top priority; drive safety improvements and conduct routine safety checks.
- People: Deploy team members daily to meet production schedules; delegate tasks appropriately; ensure required training standards; conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and survey action plans; ensure time and attendance is approved on time weekly; cascade important information effectively.
- Operational: Coordinate shift activities to meet the production schedule; ensure smooth shift handover with the next manager.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agencies; conduct routine material/line clearance/spot checks; manage compliance issues that could impact lot completion.
- Performance: Manage complete cycle time and change-over time; continuously seek improvements.
- Development: Develop direct reports via appropriate training and progressively challenging tasks; maintain development actions/plans and growth opportunities; maintain a growth mindset.
- Operation Excellence (OpEx): Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Waste Management: Generate and manage non-hazardous and hazardous waste in accordance with internal procedures and local/federal regulations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in sciences or engineering strongly preferred.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
- Two years of manufacturing or related experience required; supervisor experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems such as SAP.
- Working knowledge of safety/quality systems and cGMPs required; good writing skills and familiarity with regulated documentation.
- Aseptic production experience desirable (if applicable).
