The Group Leader is responsible for leading the manufacturing process of batches, demonstrating methods and procedures to produce products using state-of-the-art processing systems, including recipe-controlled HMI control systems.
Essential Functions:
- Verify product and packaging/manufacturing components before operations and entry into the packaging room; confirm items against batch record, work order, and packaging record; ensure accurate logbook entries and complete batch documentation.
- Initiate batch record per production schedule; verify staging status; print/inspect shipper case labels; ensure 100% label reconciliation; verify results with vision system reports; submit reviewed documentation to Quality Assurance.
- Follow manufacturing schedule based on shipping forecast; ensure proper component status identification; dispose of rejected material/packaging per procedures.
- Verify calibration status before use; perform equipment setup/operation/cleaning per cGMP; complete ROSS transactions; schedule personnel to support efficient operations.
- Adhere to Amneal Packaging CAPAs and SOPs; wear required safety/protective gear; comply with dress code.
- Maintain focus to prevent mix-ups and cross-contamination; keep rooms clean, organized, and compliant.
Additional Requirements:
- Day shift: 12-hour rotating schedule (6:00amβ6:30pm), 3 days week 1 and 4 days week 2 of pay cycle; includes working every other weekend.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED (Required)
- Experience: 3+ years manufacturing experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry (Required)
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Hourly rate: $26.00β$32.00/hour; short-term incentive and long-term incentive (RSUs) within first 12 months; eligible benefits include health/insurance and 401(k) matching.
