Manufacturing, Product Development & QA Domain Architect

Role: Lead the development of enterprise-wide digital architecture strategies for AbbVie's manufacturing, quality, and product development systems. Objectives: drive technological excellence, facilitate digital transformation, and ensure scalable, compliant manufacturing technology landscapes. Responsibilities: mentor a team of 5–8 Solution Architects and TPOs; govern architecture standards; consult on high-impact technology initiatives; bridge business and technical teams; design solutions for diverse manufacturing modalities; evaluate emerging Industry 4.0 trends; manage vendor relationships; ensure GxP compliance; communicate strategic architecture plans to leadership. Requirements: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related, with 10+ years of relevant experience, including deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, LIMS, SCADA, ERP), and experience managing large-scale technology lifecycles. Preferred: 18+ years of experience, with a proven record of leading digital transformation in regulated biopharma or healthcare manufacturing environments.
