Responsibilities:
- Develop plans to support long-term strategic initiatives and performance targets; evaluate capabilities and identify future constraints.
- Manage and mentor manufacturing engineering staff.
- Manage and execute engineering projects from concept to completion within time and budget.
- Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repairs of manufacturing equipment and tooling to minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, and other process optimization tools).
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and product development to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Analyze production data/metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee procurement, installation, commissioning, and validation of new manufacturing/packaging equipment.
- Prepare and maintain documentation (validations, reports, engineering change orders).
- Participate in process development for new products transferred to manufacturing.
- Participate in safety programs and promote OSHA-compliant work environments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years manufacturing engineering experience; at least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of cGMP and validation (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills required.

Skills/Knowledge:
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, tooling, and production processes.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, and process control.
- Experience with Lean/ Six Sigma/continuous improvement.
- Proficient with engineering software/tools (e.g., SolidWorks, ERP, data analysis).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong problem-solving/decision-making.
- Comfortable working on the production floor and supporting operators/technicians.
