Shift Available:
- Q4: Wednesday–Saturday (every other Wednesday off), Onsite Night Shift, 5:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate equipment to produce blood component lots through cell culture, harvest, and cryopreservation.
- Support deviation investigations and write-ups; support on-time closure of assigned CAPAs within the designated shift.
- Perform aseptic techniques for tube-related activities (e.g., welding, connections, transfers); maintain aseptic qualification.
- Weigh and measure in-process materials to ensure correct quantities.
- Adhere to the production schedule and on-time internal production logistics.
- Record production data per GDP requirements in clear, concise format.
- Follow site safety policies, quality systems, and GMP requirements.
- Work in a team-based, cross-functional environment to complete shift-required production tasks.
- Become a SME and qualified trainer within a designated manufacturing function.
- Maintain on-time completion of training assignments.
- Perform other assigned tasks (e.g., continuous improvement, inspection readiness, right-first-time).
Knowledge & Skills:
- Basic understanding of cell culture, cryopreservation, purification, and aseptic processing/lab technique.
- Knowledge of cGMP/FDA-regulated industry and general cGMPs.
- Basic math skills.
- Technical writing capability; proficient in MS Office.
- Background in biology, chemistry, medical, or clinical practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred.
- 0–1 years of cGMP cell therapy manufacturing/bioprocessing manufacturing or relevant experience.
Working Conditions:
- Intermittent walking/standing/sitting; may require extended standing.
- Comfortable working with contained human blood components.
- Dexterity for computers/documentation; sufficient vision/hearing.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Work in labs and controlled, enclosed, restricted areas; cleanroom PPE/garments required.
- Restricted areas prohibit food and outside items (e.g., cell phones/tablets) at minimum.
Compensation Overview:
- Summit West (NJ, US): $27.83–$33.72 per hour.
