Operations
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn and execute Cell Therapy Manufacturing operations compliantly.
- Execute procedures per Source Governing Documents (SOPs, Work Instructions, Batch Records, Forms).
- Perform transactions/processes in electronic systems; follow business continuity processes.
- Prioritize safety; report safety events within 24 hours; escalate any issues impacting compliance/safety.
- Complete contemporaneous required documentation; follow safety policies, SOPs, quality systems, and GMPs (ALCOA+).
- Complete required training on time; verify training completion before GxP tasks.
- Train for proficiency in process systems and some supporting business systems.
- Execute daily unit operations schedule (people/product/material flow across shifts).
- Work in ISO 5 cleanroom/control environment; perform aseptic processing (as assigned).
- Maintain environmental conditions via disinfection; improve manufacturing process technique to reduce operational times.
- Author technically sound manufacturing operating procedures compliant with cGMP.
Education (Required/Preferred):
- Required: minimum high school diploma (or equivalent combination of education/experience).
- Preferred: associate or bachelorβs degree in related field.
Experience/Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- 0β1 years of cGMP cell therapy manufacturing/bioprocessing (or relevant education/experience).
- Team collaboration experience; strong attention to detail and personal accountability.
- Proficiency with common computer tools (word processing, spreadsheets, web apps).
- Preferred: basic understanding of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance for biologics/cell therapy.
Working Conditions:
- Stand/walk for extended periods; cleanroom aseptic work in ISO 5 cabinets with PPE.
- Lift/carry up to 30 lb; push/pull up to 50 lb; BSL2/ML1; magnets; vapor phase liquid nitrogen; assigned shifts.
Benefits/Compensation:
- $30.61β$37.09/hour (Bothell, WA). Eligible for additional discretionary incentives; comprehensive benefits (medical/dental/vision/life/disability, retirement/financial protection, wellbeing).
