Operations
Description Overview
- Operates and ensures proper operation of manufacturing equipment.
- Conducts regular in-process checks of quality attributes of materials and products; ensures equipment is operating correctly.
- Assists in recording accurate production and inspection data; completes manufacturing paperwork in compliance with required SOPs and cGMPs.
- Performs set ups, changeovers, and cleans the work area throughout the shift to ensure proper clearance of materials.
- Implements improvements to process, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Scope of the Role / Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
- Basic math and reading comprehension; reads/speaks/comprehends English instructions and procedure documents; proofreads alpha and numeric data.
- Ability to follow standard work and SOPs.
- Basic computer skills; may need to navigate computer-based training systems.
- Effective communication as part of a work team; meets locally defined training requirements.
- Preferred: experience in pharmaceutical/FDA-controlled or other controlled regulatory environments; cGMP packaging or manufacturing.
- Required: operate and handle material handling equipment.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
