Role Statement
Our Manufacturing Associate (Cell Therapy) manufactures human blood-derived components per Batch Record and SOPs in a controlled cGMP cleanroom under Manufacturing Management supervision. Duties are performed within a team on an assigned production shift schedule. Communicate production deviations and assist with quality investigations as applicable.
Shift Available
- Quad 4: Wednesday–Saturday (with every other Wednesday off), Onsite Overnight Shift, 5:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m. (times may change).
Responsibilities
- Set up/operate equipment to support production via cell culture, harvest, and cryopreservation.
- Support deviation investigations/write-ups; support on-time CAPA closure.
- Perform aseptic tube welding, connections, and transfers (aseptic qualification required).
- Weigh/measure in-process materials; adhere to production schedule/logistics.
- Record production data per GDPs; follow site safety, quality systems, and GMP.
- Work cross-functionally; become SME/qualified trainer; complete training on time.
- Perform other assigned tasks (continuous improvement, inspection readiness, right-first-time).
Knowledge & Skills (Required/Preferred)
- Basic understanding of cell culture, cryopreservation, purification, aseptic processing/lab technique.
- Knowledge of cGMP/FDA-regulated industry and general cGMPs.
- Basic math; technical writing; MS Office.
- Background in biology/chemistry/medical/clinical practices.
Basic Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma/equivalent; associate/bachelor’s preferred.
- 0–1 year cGMP cell therapy manufacturing/bioprocessing manufacturing or relevant experience/education.
