Shift Available:
- Wednesday–Saturday (with every other Wednesday off), Onsite Night Shift, 5:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive team adherence to BMS values (Inclusion, Accountability, Innovation, Urgency, Passion).
- Ensure execution of Cell Therapy manufacturing per cGMP using approved SOPs/WIs; maintain safe work and conduct safety Gemba walks.
- Operate/maintain equipment to prevent injuries/incidents; ensure production records, batch record reviews, ALCOA+ documentation, completeness/accuracy; resolve documentation errors.
- Maintain hands-on expertise across unit operations; train, qualify, and disqualify personnel as required; manage training due dates and 100% on-time compliance.
- Provide resource/availability updates to Production Scheduling; build high-performing teams; recruit, interview, provide feedback, and administer performance reviews.
- Lead Tier and Performance Review meetings; participate in Manufacturing Performance Review and Daily Production Scheduling.
- Drive deviations reduction/continuous improvement; manage No Impact deviation records; report metrics, Pareto causes, and close deviations on time; support CAPAs/Change Controls/Projects; control expenses within influence.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Extensive EHS and cGMP knowledge; biotechnology and manufacturing systems aptitude; lean manufacturing knowledge.
- Proficient personnel/team management; strong communication; strategic thinking; adaptability to fast-paced environments.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (advanced degree preferred); equivalent education/experience.
- 5+ years relevant GMP manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years cell therapy manufacturing experience; 2+ years leadership experience.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
Working Conditions:
- Cleanroom gowning; stand 6+ hours; handle human blood products (BSL-2); exposure to vapor phase liquid nitrogen; presence of strong magnets.
- Ability to work nights/weekends/shift structure.
