Manager - Toxicology Operations - Remote

Toxicology Operations Manager (Full Time - Remote; occasional International and Domestic travel)

Role Responsibilities:
- Serve in a principal operational role for the Toxicology department, ensuring assigned goals are achieved
- Assist in defining standard departmental practices (including SOPs) for conduct and reporting of Toxicology studies
- Act as lead study monitor/sponsor representative with administrative oversight for CRO-conducted Toxicology studies
- Collaborate with lead scientists on study designs and protocols
- Independently coordinate study outsourcing (RFP, contracting, protocol development, monitoring, and reporting)
- Evaluate experimental data and align with program toxicologists to interpret, report, and present results
- Assist/direct collection and evaluation of metrics for Toxicology study conduct
- Provide toxicology leadership assistance for regulatory inspection readiness activities

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biological sciences; 7+ years post-degree experience in a pharmaceutical/drug development environment
- Significant experience in design, monitoring, and interpretation of regulated nonclinical safety studies
- Knowledge of communicating Toxicology study results to global project teams
- Ability to troubleshoot challenges during Toxicology study conduct
