Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science with 2+ years of vendor and project management in pharma/vaccines OR
- Master’s degree in Life Science with 1+ years of vendor and project management in pharma/vaccines OR
- PhD in Life Science with 1+ year of vendor and project management in pharma/vaccines
- Previous experience in research and/or a laboratory setting
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices
- Excellent technical skills, analytical ability, judgment with operational focus
- Strong organizational/prioritization skills
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills (written/oral)
- Advanced written and verbal English
- Proven experience managing budgets and projects
Responsibilities
- Manage partnerships with CROs and strategic vendors delivering specialty laboratory testing (immunogenicity analyses; virologic/bacteriologic diagnostics)
- Identify, onboard, and maintain external vendors in line with procurement, legal, and quality requirements
- Support assay development, qualification, and validation (or support existing assays) with internal/external partners
- Create/obtain documentation (RFPs/MLSA/QTA and work proposals, work orders, assay protocols, reports, analyst qualifications, data reports)
- Act as project manager and liaison between R&D operations and CROs/vendors; lead joint meetings; ensure quality data delivery for vaccine clinical trials
- Coordinate CRO testing schedules; contribute to yearly OEC budget aligned to forecast and R&D objectives; review/revise SOPs
