Major Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement for sterile filling (Waco, TX): strategic sourcing through contracting, aligned to category strategic vision.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policy; execute tactical processes supporting supplier diversity and sustainability.
- Drive supplier management aligned to SRM strategy; collaborate with Procurement Lead and Category Managers.
- Implement and communicate risk mitigation plans; provide tactical supplier performance input to protect organizational interests and operational resilience.
- Own contract execution excellence across source-to-contract and requisition-to-pay; identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Enable savings and assurance of supply; manage savings leakage across downstream procurement.
- Administer continuous improvement projects from the PSC team.
- Lead and develop Specialists: set targets, coach, and evaluate performance.
- Partner with PSC leaders/business partners for skillsets, workforce requirements, capability needs, and staffing goals.
Qualifications:
- Tactical procurement expertise (source-to-contract planning and cost assessment).
- Strong category experience; ability to tailor processes to category needs.
- Ability to manage bidding and negotiation; implement complex long-term projects and build supplier relationships.
- Experience managing collaborative supplier relationships aligned to business needs.
- Innovative, solution-oriented problem solving; strong communication.
- Cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong soft skills and emotional intelligence.
- Executive functioning and autonomous work ethic.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related.
- 7+ years in procurement, supply chain, or related operations.
- Experience managing teams and procurement operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership skills.
- Pharmaceutical industry knowledge (preferred).
