Manager / Senior Manager, R&D Finance

Role: Manager/Senior Manager of R&D Finance specializing in clinical trial financial management within a biotech focused on targeted oncology therapeutics. Responsibilities: oversee accruals, forecasts, and budgets for clinical studies; analyze variances; partner with clinical operations and development teams; manage vendor invoicing and support month-end close activities; prepare internal reports and support broader R&D financial planning; drive process improvements leveraging automation and systems. Requirements: Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related; 5-8+ years in finance with experience supporting R&D, preferably in biotech or life sciences; 3+ years in clinical trial finance including accruals and forecasting; strong knowledge of US GAAP, clinical trial processes, vendor landscape, and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and budgeting tools (e.g., Vena).
