Role Summary
Manager, Sales Operations. Partner with the sales team to ensure they have the tools, insights, and support to succeed, acting as a bridge between people, processes, and technology through the CRM system and analytics tools.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for the sales team on CRM questions, reporting tools, and data analytics
- Serve as the primary administrator and business owner of the Veeva CRM platform
- Design, configure, and maintain CRM workflows, reports, and dashboards to align with sales team needs
- Conduct training and onboarding sessions for sales team members to ensure proper CRM use and develop user-friendly guides and best practices for field adoption
- Partner with IT and vendors to troubleshoot issues, manage upgrades, process quarterly updates, and implement enhancements
- Ensure Veeva reflects the most current resources, messaging, and account-level data, including data stewardship responsibilities
- Collaborate with Compliance to ensure Veeva processes adhere to all regulatory requirements
- Support data-driven recommendations and work with commercial analytics and sales leadership to analyze sales trends and call activity
- Gather feedback from sales leadership and field team to improve system usability and data accuracy
- Train and mentor sales teams on interpreting analytics dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or Systems, or Healthcare related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or CRM administration (Veeva preferred) in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and Power BI
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build trust with sales teams and leadership
- Project management ability to keep tasks on track
- SQL experience a plus
- Experience with pre-launch and marketed products
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic start-up environment
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical commercial, regulatory, and legal environment and demonstrated integrity in compliance
- Occasional travel expected
