Summary
- Manage global revenue accounting, gross-to-net accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls under US GAAP and ASC 606.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead month- and quarter-end revenue close: GTN accrual preparation, rebate/deduction accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and reporting deliverables.
- Validate and oversee rebate claims, customer deductions, chargebacks, and other gross-to-net activities per contracts, accrual methodologies, and internal controls.
- Review and analyze commercial contracts, amendments, pricing arrangements, and payer agreements to ensure appropriate ASC 606 revenue recognition and documentation.
- Manage revenue reporting and partner with Legal, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Finance, and international teams on contract structure and revenue recognition impacts.
- Support year-end audit, quarterly reviews, SOX compliance, control documentation, and SEC-related revenue support for 10-Q/10-K filings.
- Drive process improvement across revenue accounting and OTC (root cause analysis, automation opportunities, control enhancements, scalability).
- Lead revenue accounting and OTC integration activities for acquisitions; align close processes, workflows, systems/data, controls, reporting, and transition to steady-state.
- Improve accounting processes using AI-enabled tools, automation, and technology.

Experience/Requirements/Skills
- 8+ years in controllership/revenue accounting/order-to-cash/reporting/GL close (Big 4 and public company experience preferred).
- Strong US GAAP, ASC 606, SOX, internal controls, and revenue accounting expertise.
- ERP experience (SAP/Oracle); implementations/integrations/process transformations preferred.
- Cross-functional leadership across Commercial, Market Access, Legal, Finance, IT/DTA, Tax, Treasury, and audit stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, analytical/problem-solving skills, and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related field.
- CPA (or equivalent).

Workstyle
- Remote unless local to the Bay Area; within 100 miles of San Rafael, CA requires hybrid onsite presence twice per week.
