Role Summary
Manager, Regional Sales (PCP) (New York District). Lead and supervise a regional team of Sales Representatives/Territory Managers to drive product awareness, educate the market, and generate prescriptions. Plan and coordinate regional activities, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to company policies and regional expectations.
Responsibilities
- Observe sales presentations by Sales Representatives/Territory Managers and provide feedback.
- Complete field coaching reports after travel days.
- Develop and maintain effective business plans for Territory Managers.
- Ensure teamwork across stakeholders for the brand (MSL, marketing, field counterparts).
- Coach groups to improve sales presentations and hold representatives accountable for performance goals.
- Plan and conduct effective sales meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regional expectations.
- Share success stories and best practices with the region.
- Monitor data analytics to maximize impact on prescribing physicians.
- Implement and manage incentive programs for Sales Representatives/Territory Managers.
- Identify high-performing representatives for recognition and growth.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Administration on literature requests, data maintenance, support issues, and fleet management.
Qualifications
- BachelorβΓΓ΄s Degree in a related discipline.
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
- 3+ years of management or training experience in a pharmaceutical environment (preferred).
- Experience managing sales representatives.
- Track record of success.
- Strong leadership, team-building, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Product launch experience (preferred).
- Sound judgment and strategic decision-making abilities.
- Ability to interpret and utilize business data to drive results.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to deliver presentations; physically capable of job duties including:
- Driving long distances within a large territory, travel by plane/car (U.S.), standing for extended periods.
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
- Approximately 50-75% travel required.
Education
- Bachelors Degree in a related discipline.
