Manager, PX, GWE, Automation and Maintenance

Role: Lead Automation & Maintenance Manager providing technical leadership and site ownership of automation, electrical, and data systems at the Chesterfield R&D site. Responsibilities: design, implement, and improve systems supporting reliable operations, regulatory compliance, and data analytics; drive energy optimization and digital transformation initiatives; ensure GxP and GLP compliance; lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis; develop standards and technical roadmaps; collaborate across engineering, operations, vendors, and global sites (e.g., Bothell, Andover). Qualifications: bachelor's degree with 4+ years, master's with 2+ years, or equivalent experience supporting automation and electrical systems in regulated environments; 5-8 years of relevant experience; strong knowledge of power systems, PLC/HMI, IoT, and network troubleshooting; experience with computerized maintenance systems and data analytics. Preferred: electrical engineering or computer science background, pharma industry practices, GxP experience, and familiarity with platforms like KodeLabs, Johnson Controls, Enlighted, EAMS. High-value: biopharma R&D setting, regulated (GxP, GLP), supporting lab and manufacturing environments, digital and energy optimization focus. Work setup: hybrid onsite, requiring 2-3 days in-office, with occasional after-hours support and periodic travel.
