Role Summary

Manager Procurement, IT Procurement at Johnson & Johnson. The role is based in Titusville, NJ; Raritan, NJ; New Brunswick, NJ; or Tampa, FL, and focuses on building category strategies aligned to business needs, serving as global Supplier Relationship Manager for strategic suppliers, and delivering value and innovation from partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the JJ Technology priorities and devise category strategies that advance those priorities.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and Service Delivery team to ensure Procurement strategies meet business needs and are adopted.
  • Identify industry trends to incorporate into category strategies for sustainable relevance.
  • Partner with Category and Service Delivery teams in strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key suppliers.
  • Deliver against savings, innovation, and other performance targets and ensure target achievement.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree is required; MBA or other advanced degree is desirable.
  • Experience and Skills:
    • Minimum 7โ€“10 years related experience (Procurement, Business Operations, or Supply Chain).
    • Influencing, leadership and collaboration at executive level and with peers.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, legal, finance, and business teams.
    • Strong verbal and written communication to present complex information to executives.
    • Broad understanding of core procurement (spend management, source-to-pay).
    • Understanding of legal terms, compliance, and risk management in contracts.
    • Experience with data, digital tools, and technology to drive insights and efficiency.
    • Strong project and change management capabilities; learning agility.
    • Ability to deliver against Goals and Objectives while balancing team responsibilities.
