Role Summary
Manager Procurement, IT Procurement at Johnson & Johnson. The role is based in Titusville, NJ; Raritan, NJ; New Brunswick, NJ; or Tampa, FL, and focuses on building category strategies aligned to business needs, serving as global Supplier Relationship Manager for strategic suppliers, and delivering value and innovation from partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Understand the JJ Technology priorities and devise category strategies that advance those priorities.
- Collaborate with business leaders and Service Delivery team to ensure Procurement strategies meet business needs and are adopted.
- Identify industry trends to incorporate into category strategies for sustainable relevance.
- Partner with Category and Service Delivery teams in strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and contract lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key suppliers.
- Deliver against savings, innovation, and other performance targets and ensure target achievement.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required; MBA or other advanced degree is desirable.
- Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 7–10 years related experience (Procurement, Business Operations, or Supply Chain).
- Influencing, leadership and collaboration at executive level and with peers.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, legal, finance, and business teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication to present complex information to executives.
- Broad understanding of core procurement (spend management, source-to-pay).
- Understanding of legal terms, compliance, and risk management in contracts.
- Experience with data, digital tools, and technology to drive insights and efficiency.
- Strong project and change management capabilities; learning agility.
- Ability to deliver against Goals and Objectives while balancing team responsibilities.
