Role Summary

Manager Procurement, IT Procurement at Johnson & Johnson. Based in Titusville, NJ, Raritan, NJ, New Brunswick, NJ, or Tampa, FL. Responsible for building category strategies aligned to business needs and market dynamics, and serving as global Supplier Relationship Manager for select strategic suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Understand technology priorities and devise category strategies that advance those priorities.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and Service Delivery team to ensure procurement strategies meet business needs and are adopted.
  • Identify industry trends to incorporate into category strategies for sustainable relevance.
  • Partner with Category and Service Delivery teams in strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key suppliers.
  • Deliver savings, innovation, and other performance targets for the area of responsibility and ensure target achievement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or other advanced degree desirable.
  • Experience and Skills:
    • Minimum 7-10 years related experience (preferably in Procurement, Business Operations, or Supply Chain).
    • Influencing skills to persuade others to change behavior toward common goals.
    • Strong leadership and collaboration skills at the executive level and with peers.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, legal, finance, and business teams.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex information to executives.
    • Broad understanding of core procurement areas including spend management and source-to-pay.
    • Understanding of legal terms, compliance, and risk management in contracts.
    • Experience with data, digital tools, and technology to drive insights and efficiency.
    • Strong project and change management capabilities.
    • Learning agility and ability to develop themselves and others.
    • Ability to deliver against Goals and Objectives while balancing shared responsibilities.
