Manager, Process Operations

Role: Manager, Process Operations supporting the Next Generation Biologics (NGB) GMP facility in Rahway, NJ, focusing on upstream and downstream biologics manufacturing. Objectives: lead production operations, ensure cGMP/EHS compliance, and support operational readiness for facility launch. Responsibilities: manage daily production activities, maintain quality standards, troubleshoot issues, author SOPs, oversee training and qualification, and collaborate on tech transfer and process validation. Qualifications: Bachelor's in chemical/biochemical engineering, chemistry, or related field with at least 5 years GMP biologics manufacturing experience; prior leadership in biologics or vaccine operations preferred. High-value: biologics (biotherapeutics), GMP manufacturing environment, process transfer, tech transfer support, facility startup, and multi-product flexible operations. Collaboration: cross-functional with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams. Work setup: on-site in Rahway, NJ, with on-call support as needed.
