Manager, Physician Substitute

Role Summary

The Physician Substitute Manager is part of the site leadership team, promoting company culture and enforcing company standards and expectations within all areas of the center. This position is directly responsible for supervising all Physician Substitutes within the plasma collection center, focusing on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, performance evaluations, time and attendance oversight, and corrective actions as necessary. The role ensures medical staff competency and adherence to SOPs, FDA guidance, and regulations in donor acceptability, with input from Medical Director or Center Licensed Physicians when needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Physician Substitutes within the plasma collection center.
• Ensure competency of medical staff and adherence to SOPs, FDA guidance, and regulatory requirements for donor eligibility.
• Solicit guidance from the Medical Director and/or Center Licensed Physicians as necessary.
• Oversee review of donor laboratory tests and proper management of abnormal results to ensure compliance with regulatory and ADMA procedures.
• Collaborate with Center Director on day-to-day management and leadership decisions impacting donor suitability.
• Provide medical oversight in screening, phlebotomy, and plasma processing areas.
• Work in production areas 85% of the time to identify production, staffing, quality, and personnel issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical supervision within a plasma collection or similar setting (implied).
