Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate and timely processing of end-to-end US, UK, and EMEA payroll, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, benefits, stock transactions, and other payroll changes.
- Ensure global compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax and labor law requirements.
- Manage payroll tax (e.g., registrations for new jurisdictions, login details, tax notices, amendments).
- Lead quarter-end and year-end payroll processes, including tax reporting, compliance filings, and W-2 and equivalent statement delivery.
- Serve as payroll system expert by maintaining updates and integrations.
- Oversee payroll accounting: journal entries, account reconciliations, and activities supporting financial close and audits.
- Continuously improve payroll processes and procedures for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Establish and document SOPs, policies, procedures, practices, and internal controls related to payroll.
- Resolve payroll-related employee inquiries with urgency, accuracy, and care.
- Maintain payroll records in accordance with SOX requirements.
- Prepare periodic payroll reports for management, auditors, and third parties (e.g., worker’s compensation and 401k audit).
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent).
- 5–7 years payroll or related experience.
- Payroll administrator experience (preferably Dayforce; also ADP/Workday/UKG).
- Experience with global payroll and international expansion.
- Stock transaction experience (NQSO, ISO, RSU, ESPP) and related tax implications.
- Experience managing international payroll providers.
- NetSuite experience a plus.
