Responsibilities:
- Process accurate and timely end-to-end payroll for the US, UK, and EMEA, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, benefits, stock transactions, and other payroll-related changes.
- Ensure global compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax and labor law requirements.
- Manage payroll tax tasks (e.g., jurisdiction registrations, login details, tax notices, amendments).
- Lead quarter-end and year-end payroll processes, including tax reporting, compliance filings, and W-2 and equivalent statement delivery.
- Serve as the payroll system expert by maintaining updates and integrations.
- Support payroll accounting (journal entries, account reconciliations) to aid financial close and audits.
- Continuously improve payroll processes for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Establish and document SOPs, policies, procedures, practices, and internal controls related to payroll.
- Serve as the go-to expert for payroll inquiries; resolve employee issues with urgency, accuracy, and care.
- Maintain accurate payroll records in accordance with SOX requirements.
- Prepare periodic payroll reports for management, auditors, and third parties.
- Participate in ad-hoc payroll/business initiatives.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent).
- 5β7 years of experience in payroll (or related field).
- Payroll administrator experience (Dayforce preferred) or equivalent (ADP, Workday, UKG).
- Experience with global payroll/international expansion.
- Experience with stock transactions (NQSO, ISO, RSU, ESPP) and related tax implications.
- Experience managing international payroll providers.
- NetSuite experience a plus.
