What You’ll Do
- Perform financial analysis to support the investment process via company- and asset-specific modeling (drug forecasts, operating company models, royalty monetization, and structured investment models).
- Support due diligence through primary/secondary research, including interviews with physician key opinion leaders and consultants; evaluate clinical data, commercial planning materials, competitive landscapes, and technical areas (IP, manufacturing, payor/market access, legal).
- Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams to support transaction execution.
- Prepare high-quality investment materials (investment presentations and opportunity assessments) for internal reviews and Board-level communications.
- Manage the investment pipeline with updated record keeping and status tracking for evaluated opportunities.
- Monitor the competitive landscape (deal activity and emerging trends) and communicate regularly with the Investment team.
- Take on additional project-based responsibilities as directed.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, corporate development, or comparable life sciences roles with deal/project accomplishments.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a life science field; strong academic performance.
- Strong team orientation and work ethic.
- Interest in biotechnology, drug development, and investing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust project management; ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and maintain detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical/quantitative skills to synthesize scientific, financial, and market data.
