Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute internal communications strategies supporting business priorities, organizational objectives, and key milestones.
- Evolve and scale internal communications by establishing processes, channels, and best practices to improve consistency, efficiency, and engagement.
- Create and manage content across internal channels (intranet, internal blog, employee forum, company-wide communications, digital signage, and other employee-facing platforms).
- Own the company intranet: strategy, governance, user adoption, and ongoing enhancements with IT and external vendors.
- Plan and execute internal communications campaigns promoting initiatives, reinforcing corporate values, and strengthening engagement.
- Support executive communications (leadership messages, internal leadership podcasts, and other engagement opportunities).
- Partner with HR/People teams for employee recognition, onboarding, culture-building, employer brand, and employee experience programs.
- Oversee office environmental branding globally, including museum content updates.
- Manage branded swag program; capture/curate photography from company events.
- Collaborate with external agencies and vendors on campaigns, events, content, and engagement.
Qualifications:
- 5β7 years in corporate/internal communications, PR, or related field.
- Biotechnology/pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred (in-house or agency).
- Bachelorβs degree in communications/PR/business/marketing or equivalent.
- Strong written/verbal communication with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and employee communication tools.
- Experience creating content for employees, leaders, and executives.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate communications.
- Visual storytelling instincts; collaborate with designers/photographers/agencies.
- Experience building/improving communications programs/channels/processes in growth environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, balance priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong cross-functional relationship building.
- Resourceful, proactive, adaptable, hands-on, and ownership-oriented.
