Role overview and onsite requirement:
- Manager, Internal Communications. 4 days per week onsite at Global HQ Campus in Westchester, NY (not fully remote/hybrid).
A Typical Day / Responsibilities:
- Support development and execution of global internal communications programs aligned to key corporate functions (HR, IT, etc.).
- Serve as a trusted internal communications partner to G&A leaders; advise on communications approaches supporting enterprise priorities.
- Plan and coordinate internal communications initiatives with strong project management and creative engagement.
- Draft messaging and materials (project briefs, key messages, talking points, FAQs, etc.) tied to company goals.
- Create content and approaches to engage employees on enterprise change initiatives (digital transformation, global expansion, culture storytelling, etc.).
- Build relationships across the organization to support collaboration.
- Measure communications effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations to improve reach, clarity, and impact.
- Identify opportunities to elevate strategy, streamline processes, and improve efficiency.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 4+ years relevant experience in internal communications and employee engagement.
- Previous PR/communications agency and/or pharma/biotech experience preferred (not required).
- Experience supporting corporate/business functions (e.g., HR, IT) in a communications role.
Skills:
- Storytelling/content management experience for a global employee base.
- Change communication principles knowledge.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication; ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
- Experience with employee communication channels/technologies (intranets, enterprise social platforms, email tools, etc.).
- Strong project management, attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
