Role Responsibilities
- Rebate Administration: Review contract language; provide SME for rebate setup in Flex (pricing components). Process rebate/fee payments accurately and on time; perform validations and drive continuous improvement. Ensure customer adherence to contract terms to reduce risk. Maintain SOX controls/internal SOPs; keep supporting documentation for payments, reconciliations, and quarterly accrual reserves.
- Payment Analysis: Analyze account performance for management/account teams with a customer-support focus. Provide quarterly rebate information and analysis for accruals to Managed Market Finance.
- Strategic Vision/Operational Implementation/Collaboration: Provide input into contract negotiation of rebate/fee strategies (payment terms, system capabilities, customer data management). Collaborate on contract language; act as SME for contract set up. Partner with GBS to ensure accurate setup of eligible members. Develop customer relationships; fulfill ad-hoc data/analysis requests; identify issues impacting contracting/rebates and evaluate impact to strategy/policy.
- Technology Focus: Use knowledge of FLEX, Business Objects, Cognos to troubleshoot calculation issues; partner with Pfizer Digital on corrective actions. Lead periodic UAT for system enhancements.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead training material and ad-hoc projects (medium–high risk, cross-functional impact).

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 4+ years, or Master’s + 2+ years, or PhD, or Associate + 8+ years, or High School + 10+ years.
- Pharma industry experience preferred; institutional contracting/rebating a plus.
- Ability to make policy/marketplace judgments; comfort discussing rebate terms with MASA/account teams/customers.

Skills (required/preferred)
- Strong organization, communication, time management, follow-through, analytical/problem-solving.
- Excel (pivots, V-lookups, charts, formulas; large datasets).
- Intermediate MS Word/PowerPoint/Outlook.
- Preferred: rebate/payment system experience (Model N FLEX preferred); reporting tools (Business Objects/Cognos) and ability to build simple queries.
- Fluency in AI tools (e.g., CoPilot, Claude).

Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Bonus target: 12.5% of base salary; eligible for share-based long-term incentive.
