Role Responsibilities

Rebate Administration
- Review contract language and provide subject matter expertise on rebate setup in connection with pricing components in Flex.
- Accurately process fee/rebate payments within agreement timelines; perform robust validations and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure customer adherence to contract terms and conditions to reduce risk and protect Pfizer’s assets.
- Maintain SOX controls and internal SOP adherence; keep supporting documentation for rebate payments, reconciliations, and quarterly accrual reserves.

Payment Analysis
- Analyze account performance for Management and Account Teams with a strong focus on customer support.
- Provide quarterly rebate information and analysis to Managed Market Finance for accruals.

Strategic Vision / Collaboration
- Provide input into contract negotiation of rebate/fee strategies (payment terms, system capabilities, customer data management).
- Collaborate with Contracting Management and Development; review draft language; act as SME for contract set up.
- Collaborate with GBS to ensure accurate setup of rebate-eligible members.
- Develop and manage key customer relationships; fulfill ad-hoc data/analysis requests.
- Identify issues impacting contracting/rebate processes and evaluate impact to strategy/policy.

Technology Focused
- Use knowledge of FLEX, Business Objects, Cognos; troubleshoot calculation issues; partner with Pfizer Digital for corrective actions.
- Lead periodic UAT for system enhancements.

Continuous Improvement
- Lead training material development; train colleagues on market, rebate administration, and accrual focus areas.
- Lead medium to high-risk ad hoc cross-functional projects.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s (4+ yrs) or Master’s (2+ yrs) or PhD or Associate (8+ yrs) or High School (10+ yrs).
- Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred; institutional contracting/rebating a plus.
- Ability to make judgments on policy/objectives and Institutional/Provider marketplace; discuss terms with MASA, Account Management, and customers.
- Strong interpersonal, organization, communications, follow-through, analytical/problem-solving, attention to detail.

Preferred Skills
- Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups, charts, formulas); working with large data files.
- MS Word/PowerPoint/Outlook.
- Experience with rebate payment systems; Model N FLEX preferred.
- Business Objects/Cognos or similar reporting; ability to create simple queries.
- Fluency with AI tools (e.g., CoPilot, Claude).
