Role Summary

The Manager II, Above Brand and Omnichannel Strategy for U.S. Specialty Pan-team will design, implement, manage, analyze, and effectively communicate Omnichannel analytics and Portfolio initiatives on behalf of APEX. This role provides analytic leadership and integrates marketing and sales information to strengthen the Brand and Sales teams' understanding of marketplace performance and opportunities, partnering across APEX verticals as well as with Brand Analytics, Sales Operations and Customer Experience teams to interpret results and deliver recommendations to inform strategic and tactical decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Leads solution development and execution to ensure marketing analytics professionals have access to and use advanced analytical techniques to produce results leveraging data, research, and analytics
  • Lead Media Mix Modeling efforts to develop fact-based promotional investment strategies that increase the return on promotional investments
  • Meaningfully communicate insights to a broad group of stakeholders; collaborate with and influence the marketing team and media agencies to drive greater business outcomes
  • Identify and recommend key business issues to be addressed by analytics; recommend appropriate techniques and analytical approaches to meet business objectives; integrate all available information
  • Demonstrate proficiency with primary research and secondary data sources; integrate therapeutic area knowledge into insights and actionable recommendations
  • Effectively communicate results of complex analytical models and influence action to improve brand and portfolio performance
  • Leverage and build innovative analytic models that address critical issues while meeting key business and technical criteria

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s Degree (or US equivalent)
  • Required: 4+ years of relevant experience in quantitative analysis of sales and marketing information and its use in business planning and strategy
  • Required: Strong leadership skills and ability to work with all corporate functions and senior management
  • Required: Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Required: Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Preferred: Masterโ€™s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering Economics, Statistics, Marketing or related field with marketing/sales/quantitative focus
  • Preferred: Previous Pharmaceutical experience
  • Preferred: SQL/Dataiku
