Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary Finance business partner for Clinical Study Teams (CSTs), CROs, Vendor Outsourcing, and Controllership; provide study-level financial execution support, issue resolution, and operational guidance.
- Lead month-end close for assigned studies (accruals, variance analysis, study-level reporting, coordination for accuracy/completeness).
- Own/maintain study forecast models; ensure assumptions, timelines, vendor inputs, and operational changes are reflected in Latest Estimate, budget, and planning.
- Manage system inputs and reconciliations for forecast, budget, close, and reporting; resolve data quality/process issues with stakeholders.
- Create financial decks/analyses/management reporting on performance, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Streamline operational activities and improve handoffs, forecast accuracy, and close/planning/analysis/reporting processes.
- Support financial analysis/reporting for development collaborations as needed.
- Monitor compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Perform ad hoc analyses for study execution, decisions, and leadership requests.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree + 6 years’ experience; or Master’s degree + 4 years’ experience.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Biotech/pharma R&D support experience.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills; independent and team-effective.
- Solution-oriented; strong analytical capabilities.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated): $136,340–$176,440 salary range; may include discretionary bonus, stock incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
