Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Role: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager supporting clinical operations at IDEAYA Biosciences. Primary objectives include developing enterprise-level financial plans, managing clinical trial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and providing financial insights for decision-making. Responsibilities encompass clinical trial financial management, variance analysis, monthly close activities, and stakeholder collaboration across clinical, program management, and CRO teams. Requirements: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 4-7 years of relevant experience (preferably in biotech or pharma, Big 4 experience a plus), strong understanding of US GAAP, financial modeling, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Preferred qualifications include MBA or CPA. High-value specifics: focus on oncology, solid tumor indications, and early to mid-stage clinical trials; experience with clinical trial accruals, metrics forecasting, and SOX compliance are advantageous. Work setup: onsite in South San Francisco, CA, four days per week, with no travel expected.
