Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Role: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager supporting clinical trial budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting within IDEAYA's oncology pipeline. Responsibilities: develop enterprise budgets, oversee clinical trial financials, prepare accruals, analyze variance, and produce metrics and executive reports; serve as finance partner to clinical teams and CROs; ensure compliance with SOX. Requirements: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; 4-7 years of experience in finance, preferably with biotech/pharma or Big 4 in life sciences; strong understanding of US GAAP, financial modeling, and reporting; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; excellent communication and relationship-building skills; detail-oriented with high accuracy standards. Preferred: MBA or CPA; industry experience in oncology, small molecules, biologics, or ADCs; familiarity with clinical trial processes and GxP environments. High-Value: oncology (solid tumors), clinical stage (likely Ph1-3), focus on R&D financial management, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, onsite in South San Francisco, no travel required.
