Role Summary

Manager, Field Engagement responsible for supporting Sanofi North America’s speaker programs across General Medicines, Vaccines and Specialty Care. Partners with brand marketing and sales leadership to develop and execute promotional programs (speaker events and displays). Focuses on customer service and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliant, best-in-class promotional programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and drive annual speaker contract on-boarding and Veeva events go-live for the following year.
  • Work with therapeutic areas across the annual life cycle of promotional events.
  • Budget planning; speaker nomination and contracting; speaker and field employee training; reporting and analysis.
  • Provide support for promotional programs systems, including key integration points and dependencies (HR data, transparency, customer master, finance).
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales leads, and logistics vendors to create innovative programming and cost efficiencies.
  • Develop metrics and reporting environments with Commercial Operations for sales and marketing.
  • Collaborate with business operations and business integrity colleagues when necessary.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Promotional Events and related systems, policies, portals, contracting, onboarding, training, and field support.
  • Own and nurture partnerships with promotional event brand marketers, field sales leaders, logistics vendors, brand attorneys/compliance, and E-Buy leads.
  • Drive project execution (content refreshes, field realignments, reporting updates, training calendars).
  • Act as principal contact for alliance colleagues and determine effective cross-alliance processes.
  • Partner with Veeva Digital Events account leads; coordinating timely reporting to monitoring, transparency, and Sunshine Act requirements.
  • Develop and deliver bi-annual Business Review Meetings; manage brand SOWs with vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience with cross-functional teams or relevant experience
  • Proven ability to influence without authority
  • Experience collaborating effectively in a commercial pharmaceutical or equivalent organization
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com, Veeva, QlikSense or equivalent
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience analyzing complex data
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Attention to detail and ability to ask insightful questions
  • Ability to multitask and deliver within timelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to train and coach others
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team; sense of urgency and ownership
  • Preferred: Direct experience with Sales and Marketing in pharma/biotech; familiarity with Veeva, Qlik, SmartSheets, Power BI; demonstrated project management success
