Role Summary

The Manager, Field Engagement is responsible for supporting Sanofi North America’s speaker programs across General Medicines, Vaccines and Specialty Care. This role partners with brand marketing and sales leadership to develop and execute promotional programs (speaker events and displays) and ensures compliance and effective field-system support. The position emphasizes customer service and cross-functional collaboration across marketing, vendors, field sales leadership, IS, home office, corporate compliance and alliance partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and drive the annual processes of speaker contract onboarding and Veeva events go-live for the following year
  • Work with therapeutic areas across the annual life cycle of promotional events (budget planning, speaker nomination and contracting, speaker and field employee training, reporting and analysis)
  • Provide support for promotional programs systems, including HR data, transparency, customer master, and finance integrations
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leads and the logistics vendor to create innovative programming and cost efficiencies
  • Develop metrics and reporting environments with Commercial Operations for sales and marketing
  • Collaborate with business operations and business integrity teams as needed
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Promotional Events, including event management systems, policies, speaker portals, contracting/on-boarding, training, and field manager support
  • Own and nurture partnerships with brand marketers, field sales leaders, logistics vendors, brand attorneys/compliance, and E-Buy leads
  • Drive project execution (content refreshes, field realignments, reporting refreshes, training calendars)
  • Serve as account-level contact with Veeva Digital Events and collaborate on monitoring, transparency, and Sunshine Act reporting
  • Develop and facilitate brand SOWs with vendors and deliver bi-annual Business Review Meetings

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Required: 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams or equivalent
  • Required: Proven ability to influence without authority
  • Required: Experience collaborating in a commercial pharmaceutical or equivalent organization
  • Required: Superior organizational skills
  • Required: Excellent verbal and written communication at all organization levels
  • Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
  • Required: Knowledge of Salesforce.com, Veeva, QlikSense or equivalents
  • Required: Strong analytical capabilities and ability to work with complex data
  • Required: Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Required: Attention to detail and ability to ask insightful questions
  • Required: Ability to multitask and deliver within timelines
  • Required: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to train/coach others
  • Required: Ability to work independently and in a team; sense of urgency and ownership
  • Preferred: Direct experience with Sales/Marketing in pharma or biotech
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Veeva, Qlik, SmartSheets and Power BI
  • Preferred: Demonstrated project management success
