Role Summary
We are searching for the best talent for Manager, E&PS MRO (Maintenance Repair & Operations), located in United States and/or Puerto Rico. This hybrid role is across multiple countries and may be posted under different requisition numbers to comply with local requirements. The FM Center of Excellence (FM CoE) seeks a strategic MRO Specialist Manager to lead global MRO initiatives, establish unified process ownership, drive enterprise standards, and develop strategies to manage obsolescence and inventory performance.
Responsibilities
- Global Process Ownership: Establish and lead a centralized, standardized process for MRO across all business units and regions, ensuring best practices and consistency.
- Development of Operational Standards: Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-wide MRO operational standards and procedures to optimize reliability, cost-efficiency, and safety.
- Obsolescence Strategy: Develop and implement a robust obsolescence management plan, including financial treatment, risk mitigation, and disposition strategies for obsolete inventory.
- Technology & AI Integration: Utilize advanced digital tools, including AI and data analytics, to gather insights on inventory performance, forecast trends, and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Innovation & Future State Planning: Assess and recommend the best technology solutions and digital tools to transform MRO operations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and future industry trends.
- Inventory KPI Development: Define, track, and analyze key program metrics and KPIs related to inventory management, including site performance, aging inventory, and stock accuracy.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish benchmarks and methodologies to measure site performance, identify improvement opportunities, and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and engineering teams to align MRO strategies with overall business objectives.
- Leadership & Change Management: Mentor teams, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and lead change initiatives to embed standards and innovations.
- Training: Lead and mentor teams and stakeholders on MRO best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Market & Technology Trends: Stay informed about emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related technical field is required; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in MRO, supply chain, maintenance management, or related operations, with a proven track record in establishing global processes.
- Strong expertise in developing MRO standards, inventory management, and obsolescence strategies, with experience in deploying digital solutions and AI technologies.
- Deep understanding of enterprise asset management (EAM), ERP systems, and data analytics platforms.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to drive change in a complex, multi-site environment.
- Digital literacy, including a solid understanding of MS Office suite
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven tools for predictive maintenance, inventory forecasting, or analytics.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related technical field is required; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
