Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to address demand forecasting and supply chain analytics questions (problem identification, hypothesis testing, analysis, and presenting findings).
- Develop and apply predictive/prescriptive forecasting models and decision analysis techniques across the supply chain.
- Build and maintain analytics tools and models using best practices (analytics DevOps, MLOps), ensuring quality/timeliness of planned and ad hoc requests.
- Understand GPS business priorities and deliver agreed analytics on time; leverage analytics standards and escalation processes.
- Collaborate with BI&T teams and cross-functional partners (Commercial, Procurement, Finance) to identify and deliver analytics needs.
- Communicate model limitations and ensure adherence to operating policies/values.
Qualifications & Experience (Minimum)
- Bachelorβs degree in business analytics, data science, engineering, finance, or other quantitative field (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience with applied machine learning, statistical/time-series modeling, and/or quantitative forecasting.
- Production experience with SQL, Python and/or R; working with large data sets; basic data architecture/database concepts.
- Production-grade coding with version control.
- Dashboarding: PowerBI or Tableau.
- Predictive modeling/MLOps; probabilistic methods (Monte Carlo, Bayesian, probability theory).
- Familiarity with major GPS applications (SAP, LIMS, Infinity, MES, Aera).
- Strong critical thinking/problem-solving; excellent collaboration and written/verbal communication.
Preferred/Plus
- Life sciences/pharmaceutical industry; Generative/Agentic AI.
