The Manager of Sales Operations will support Sales Operations for field-based teams, reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations and working with Sales and Marketing leadership. Translate commercial objectives into field plans and goals, support proper sizing, targeting, and incentive compensation, optimize CRM, and manage logistics including fleet administration.

Responsibilities:
- Set national and regional sales targets aligned with forecasts and regulations; align targeting and call planning to business strategy.
- Implement and manage sales compensation plans and incentive programs; adjust as needed and help automate targeting and incentives.
- Manage field alignment, workload calculation, and territory mapping; collaborate on optimal field resource allocation.
- Partner with IT to manage sales/marketing data (targeting, incentive compensation, KPIs, field sizing), maintain customer master data, optimize data sources for planning, and collaborate on ongoing CRM improvements.
- Support Commercial Operations budget tracking; assist with vendor relationships and day-to-day vendor coordination.
- Manage the field fleet program (vehicle assignments, lease tracking/renewals, vendor liaison, fleet policy compliance) and serve as primary field point of contact for fleet needs.
- Define, develop, and regularly communicate business KPIs/metrics; partner with analytics and commercial leadership on tracking/reporting.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related or life sciences; strong understanding of life sciences industry.
- 5+ years progressive commercial experience in biotech/pharma.
- 2+ years pharmaceutical data/sales operations (e.g., brand management, data management, sales ops, analytics, forecasting).
- Strong leadership/communication; effective vendor management.
- Ability to work in a matrixed, team-based environment; strong organization and time management.
- Travel up to 20%.

Preferred:
- Experience in the cardiometabolic disease space.

- Based in Pasadena, California; in office 5 days/week.
- California pay range: $120,000 USD - $145,000 USD.
- Authorization to work in the country where the role is located is required.
