Role: Manager, Commercial Accounting at a fully remote biopharmaceutical company developing treatments for hypertension and related conditions, including CKD and sleep apnea. Objectives: Oversee commercial finance activities supporting product revenue recognition, gross-to-net reserves, inventory, and accounts receivable to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. Responsibilities: Manage month-end close for revenue, inventory, and cost of goods; prepare journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with ASC 606; oversee gross-to-net reserve calculations and partner with cross-functional teams on commercial initiatives; serve as primary liaison with third-party logistics providers and commercial partners for order-to-cash processes; support product launches and process improvements; assist in financial reporting, audit preparation, and SOX compliance; drive automation and system enhancements, including ERP projects; manage and mentor finance team members. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, CPA preferred; 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in biotech, pharma, or life sciences, with strong US GAAP knowledge including ASC 606, gross-to-net, inventory, and COGS; experience with third-party logistics, large ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), and commercial revenue processes. Preferred: experience in public accounting, SOX/internal controls, and publicly traded companies. Skills: analytical mindset, attention to detail, cross-functional collaboration, independent work capability, continuous improvement. Work setup: Fully remote with up to 10% travel, often overnight.
